    That does look cool, and better than the first one, but the trailers for the first one looked just as cool, so we’ll have to see how it turns out.

    Other movies I’m looking forward to (or at least look interesting so far) are Jumper, Wall-E, The Dark Knight, City of Ember, Inkheart, Watchmen, and Iron Man. Spiderwick Chronicles and Forbidden Kingdom look like they’ll be decent rentals.

    We just saw Golden Compass, and were very disappointed. It has that ’studio interference’ smell about it (for example, it cuts off before the end of the book), so if a ‘directors cut’ DVD comes out I might rent it.
