    The Tank Chair is cool, but unfortunately it’s too wide to be practical as a mobility device. The ADA accessibility guidelines state that public doorways have to be 36″ wide. Wheelchair manufacturers try to keep the wheel-to-wheel width under 30″. The Tank Chair is 42″ wide.

    Obviously, the Tank Chair needs to be beefed up to the point where it can make *it’s own* doorway, ’cause that’s how you’ll get some respect. Fuck the ADA.

    I, for one, welcome our new armored-chair-riding overlords.
