On The Meridian Of Time

June 3rd, 2008 · No Comments

Over in my “random quotes” box to the right, you’ll occasionally see this pop up:

On the meridian of time there is no injustice; there is only the poetry of motion creating the illusion of truth and drama.

It’s a quote from Henry Miller’s Tropic Of Cancer, and I’ve always liked it, mainly for the sound of the words.

But now I think I finally really understand it, and the passage that proceeds it.

That’s all.
