  Also, the sad thing is that the unemployment numbers you hear on the news are based solely on unemployment claims. But relatively few people who end up unemployed (such as myself) don’t bother because they know from experience that they’re not going to qualify. So the actual percentage of people unemployed is far higher than the media reports.
